Glossary
Plain-language definitions of trust and security terms.
- What is a website trust score?
A Fraudly Trust Score summarises available evidence to support your decision. It is decision support—not a guarantee that a site is safe forever.
- What is a TLS certificate?
A TLS certificate helps browsers establish an encrypted HTTPS connection and shows certificate details. It does not by itself prove a business is trustworthy.
- What is WHOIS / RDAP?
WHOIS and RDAP are lookup systems for domain registration data such as creation date and registrar. They offer clues about a domain—not proof that a website is safe or honest.
